The Van Kirk family and more were on hand in Boca Raton as a Red Meat Lovers Club event was held benefitting Selfless Love Foundation! Food, cars and auctions were held to raise money for a terrific organization that was very thankful for the donations. The event was a rounding success as hundreds turned out to what was an incredibly fun evening!
The event benefitted the Selfless Love Foundation and Family Match, A Program of Adoption-Share. Their website selflesslovefoundation.org states that Adoption-Share’s Family Match Program is an innovative technology that uses a compatibility assessment created by former lead researcher at eHarmony, to better match foster children with their forever families! Together Selfless Love Foundation and Adoption-Share are helping find forever families for the over 800 + foster children in Florida and have found over 100 families for foster children so far.
On rmlclub.com website, The Red Meat Lover’s Club was established at Tulane University by Evan Darnell, AKA “The Secretary of Steak” around 1994. While he was dining, he saw a sign that said “S.A.V.E: Students Advocating Vegetarian Eating and felt obligated to form an opposing club. Monthly meetings were held at various local bars and the Pike fraternity house and reached about 300 members. Evan took his beloved club out of hibernation and re-established the club here in the South Florida area when he moved in 2017! They exist to exalt the act of gathering, dining, and ensuring that they are the best business dining club not only in South Florida, but the country! Monthly meeting and events also benefit local and national charities as well as works of good deeds!
