Luxury Pool Renovations in South Florida
Has your swimming pool seen better days? Perhaps it was there when you purchased your home and always planned to renovate it. You may have installed your pool years ago, but it no longer matches your style or needs.
Van Kirk & Sons Pools & Spas can work with you through remodeling and renovation. We’ll help you turn an idea into reality. Learn more about how the renovation process works.
Luxury Pool Remodeling Planning
First, determine what restorations and renovations your pool needs. You may look at your existing pool and see its issues. We’ll help you contextualize those problems and make a plan for correcting them through a renovation. Some factors to consider during this phase include the pool’s:
Consider how you want to use your newly renovated pool versus how you use the existing one. You may have a pool that’s perfect for swimming laps or intensive training when a freeform pool that you can relax next to or let children play in would better suit your needs. Whether you want to change the depth or add a seating area, we can update the existing pool to meet those requirements.
Designing Luxury Pool Restorations
For many homeowners, the design phase is the fun part. It’s a time to dream up your remodeled pool and explore what’s possible. An experienced design consultant will work with you during this phase to help you plan the details of your restored luxury swimming pool. We’ll use PoolStudio software to create a customized pool shape, plaster color and tile designs. Our team will put in all the small details, showing you the finished project before it comes to life.
While designing your renovation, you can play with features like a waterfall, firepit or outdoor kitchen to see what works with your vision.
Luxury Pool Renovations and Construction Process
After you’ve planned and designed your renovations, it’s time to bring your vision to life. The construction process is typically the longest part of the renovation, as it will require digging, removal of the existing pool, inspections and installation of your new pool. How long construction takes and how extensive the process is depends on your goals.
If you want to make a couple of minor changes to your pool, such as installing a pergola or fountain, the construction process may take just a few days. The same is true if you need luxury pool resurfacing but are otherwise leaving the structure intact. If your goal is to completely overhaul your pool, including changing its shape, size or depth, construction will be more involved and take longer.
