The Van Kirk family and more were present in Delray Beach as a Red Meat Lovers Club event was held benefitting the Connected Warriors Foundation! Food galore, cigars and auctions were held to raise money for a terrific organization that was very thankful for the donations. The event was a rounding success as hundreds turned out to what was an incredibly fun evening with a few surprise guests such as NFL Hall of Famer Warren Sapp, as well as former NBA star Kenny Anderson!

The event benefitted the Connected Warriors, a foundation that helps Servicemembers, Veterans and their families worldwide feel better through yoga! Their website connectedwarriors.org states that Connected Warriors offer trauma-conscious yoga training to Certified Yoga teachers and healthcare professionals. Connected Warriors’ training is Yoga Alliance Certified for 10 Continuing Education Units (CEU). It goes on to say: Without the efforts of their passionate volunteers at Connected Warriors, they would not be able to accomplish their mission. Whether you are a Veteran, in the Military, or a caring civilian wanting to join, Connected Warriors hopes to hear from you!

On rmlclub.com website, The Red Meat Lover’s Club was established at Tulane University by Evan Darnell, AKA “The Secretary of Steak” around 1994. While he was dining, he saw a sign that said “S.A.V.E: Students Advocating Vegetarian Eating and felt obligated to form an opposing club. Monthly meetings were held at various local bars and the Pike fraternity house and reached about 300 members. Evan took his beloved club out of hibernation and re-established the club here in the South Florida area when he moved in 2017! They exist to exalt the act of gathering, dining, and ensuring that they are the best business dining club not only in South Florida, but the country! Monthly meeting and events also benefit local and national charities as well as works of good deeds!
