Van Kirk & Sons Pools & Spas Employees
Donate to Hard Hats & High Heels for Habitat for Humanity

Earlier this month Van Kirk & Sons Pools & Spas employees Walter Garcia and Jonathan Schulter attended the 3rd annual Hard Hats & High Heels Cocktail Reception for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami at the East, Miami at Brickell City Centre. Attendees were in full force and they had live donations as beneficiaries from the program told their amazing stories of how Habit for Humanity changed their lives. "We are just so thankful for Habitat for Humanity for turning our life in a new direction" one beneficiary cried out as dozens of listeners were suede to donate right then and there. "Their stories were really breathtaking and it's great to see all of the volunteer work these people are doing to help these people." Jonathan Schulter of Van Kirk & Sons Pools & Spas said. Walter Garcia also of Van Kirk adds "Yes I agree with Jon. I mean for people to just donate on the spot really adds to the emotion these beneficiaries are displaying. It's quite a site to see."

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building affordable homes in partnership with low-income families in Miami-Dade County, according to their website. It goes on to say, since 1989, they have built over 1,000 homes alongside families in need of simple, decent housing in Miami-Dade... all of this is possible thanks to the time, compassion, and generosity of their private and corporate sponsors. "We have the know-how in the world to house everyone. We have the resources in the world to house everyone. All that's missing is the will to do it" says Millard Fuller, Founder of Habitat for Humanity.
